Amal graduated with honours with a business degree as well as a diploma in non-profit organizations. This unique combination of education has helped Amal excel in many professions such as being an accountant, event organizer, owner of a French tutoring company, French teacher and most importantly now as a Realtor. These experiences in business, sales and negotiations has culminated to provide Amal a unique skill set that proves beneficial working as a Realtor. Not only has Amal been living in Canada for 35 years, she is fluent in English, French and Arabic allowing her to provide exceptional service and guidance to her clients from many different backgrounds.
Amal, an immigrant herself and having called Canada home for the past 35 years, is very involved in the local community. She actively helps many new immigrants integrate into Canadian society to be able to call Canada home. She has successfully chaired the largest annual school fair in Vancouver with over 500 volunteers and 6000 attendees. She has also created annually a BC business directory for the Francophone community.
Amal’s unique skill set has been proven with her sales results, for the past 11 years she has won the Excellence and High Achievement Sales Award from MacDonal Realty. In 2020, Amal moved to Icon & Co., the No 1. independent boutique real estate firm in Vancouver, where she is excited to carve out a new adventure, with more milestones to be reached.
Amal works hard for her clients, leveraging her sales experience and negotiating skills which help manage and reduce any stresses to her clients that come up naturally in real estate transactions. Her exceptional personalized service, most often leads her clients to build a friendship with Amal; this then often results in referrals as her clients would like their friends and family to have the same positive experience they have had.
In Amal’s free time she relaxes by spending time with her family and friends. She loves hosting and cooking for her family and friends, enjoying the time that is shared around a warm meal. She enjoys walking her dogs at Kits Beach and the UBC endowment lands, skiing with her grandkids at Cypress Mountain, swimming with her family and friends off of Gambier Island and working out with friends.
